Goethe tells of an ardent literary love (XV Elegia Romana) consumed with the beautiful Faustina at the Osteria della Campana at Vicolo di Monte Savello. The Roman Elegie is a cycle of twenty-four poems by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, originally titled Erotica Romana, composed between 1788 and 1790, returning from his trip to Italy, from 1786 to 1788. In these, Goethe recalls his recent Roman living, inspired by the elegies of love of classical poets like Catullo, Ovidio, Properzio and Tibullo.

Best location New GuestHouse in the heart of Trastevere district of Rome. Completely renewed in an old building located on a small, quiet and very silent street. Design and technology distinguish this small luxury property in one of the most famous neighborhoods of Rome between monuments, restaurants and nightlife.
The hotel was built in an old building that has been completely renewed by one of the most prestigious studios in Italy. Even in the mezzanine you can see an old painting of the Virgin Mary that was discovered during the restoration (in the stairs that must ascend to enter - second floor-)
